Mike Bartels, PT, Owner
Mike graduated from UNMC in 1988 with a degree in physical therapy and went to work in Papillion for the first 5 years.  After practicing the next 15 years in Omaha, Mike returned to Papillion to open Edge Physical Therapy.   

Mike is a Papillion resident of 15 years and has 2 children in the Papillion-LaVista School system.  He is a volunteer youth coach through the YMCA.  Mike is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and Nebraska PT Association.   

Mike has over 20 years of experience treating orthopedic and sports related injuries. His areas of expertise include evaluating and treating posture and muscle imbalances of the body utilizing “Postural Restoration” techniques. Mike also has a strong interest in cycling related injuries and is a competitive cyclist himself on the Midwest Cycling Community team.

Beth Bartels, PT, Owner
Beth is a 1988 graduate of UNMC.  She is a native of Albion, NE.  Beth has worked in Omaha and Papillion since graduating from UNMC’s Division of Physical Therapy.  Beth and her husband Mike are the owners of EDGE Physical Therapy in Papillion, NE.  She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Assoc, Nebraska Physical Therapy Assoc., and has served on the Sarpy Community YMCA Board.   

Beth has enjoyed working with orthopedic, sports and spine patients for the past 20 years.  She has worked closely with the Papillion-LaVista school’s tennis teams in shoulder injury prevention.  Beth also is a guest lecturer for the PLV Junior High and High School’s health education classes.  Beth’s interests outside of work include cycling, golf, and skiing and spending time with her two sons.
